Application Process for (MPNP)

  • Create an EOI Profile: Register on the MPNP Online system and create an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile. This profile includes information about your education, work experience, language proficiency, and connection to Manitoba.
  • Enter the Selection Pool: Once the profile is complete, you will enter the selection pool and receive a score based on the MPNP points system. Your score determines your ranking in the pool.
  • Wait for Invitation: Regular draws are conducted, and the highest-scoring candidates are invited to apply for the MPNP.
  • Invitation Notification: If you are selected from the pool, you will receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) from the MPNP.
  • Time to Apply: You will have 60 days from the date of the ITA to submit a complete application to the MPNP.

  • Upload Required Documents: Upload all required supporting documents, such as passports, proof of work experience, educational credentials, language test results, proof of funds, and any other relevant documents.
  • Initial Review: MPNP officials will conduct an initial review of your application to ensure all required documents are submitted and meet the program criteria.
  • Detailed Assessment: A thorough assessment of your application is conducted, which may include verification of your documents and information.
  • Interview (if required): You may be required to attend an interview with MPNP officials to discuss your application and provide additional information or clarification.
  • Business Plan Review (for Business Investor Stream): For the Entrepreneur and Farm Investor pathways, your business plan will be reviewed in detail. You may be asked to provide further details or attend an interview.
  • Approval Notification: If your application is approved, you will receive a nomination certificate from the province of Manitoba.
  • Nomination Acceptance: You must accept the nomination within the stipulated time frame.
  • Prepare IRCC Application: Use your provincial nomination to apply for permanent residency through Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). This involves completing the federal application forms and gathering the necessary supporting documents.
  • Submit to IRCC: Submit your application to IRCC for processing. This may include medical exams, police certificates, and other background checks.
