Canada’s 2023 to 2025 Immigration Levels Plan

Canada has announced its 2023-2025 immigration levels plan

Immigrants will arrive over the next three years, and this will help address persistent labor shortages, particularly in the health care, manufacturing and construction sectors. At the same time, the government will continue to invest in processing capacity to ensure that all applications are processed as quickly as possible and to eliminate backlogs.

Canada plans to target 465,000 new immigrants in 2023 and could increase that figure to 505,000.

266,210 will be selected from the Economic Category which includes:

1) Highly Skilled Federal
2) Federal economic public policies
3) Federal Affairs
4) Economic Pilot Projects (Caregivers, Agribusiness Pilot, Economic Mobility Pathways Project, and Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot)
5) Atlantic Immigration Program
6) Provincial Nominee Program
